Your mission

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, IN. You will be responsible for for devising, organizing and implementing product development projects that are complex by nature, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.


Key responsibilities

Structure the complex strategic projects and draft the associated documents. Define the role and the responsibilities of each participants in the projects and arbitrate the disputes. Lead the project team and monitor the schedules, deadlines, budgets and process. Ensure the proper use of project support tools. Bring a "helicopter" view to the people involved in the projects. Lead the deployment of projects, consolidate reporting of multidisciplinary activities and adapt communication to the different partners in the monitoring committees. Actively participate in the continuous improvement of project management within the organization. Coordinate definition of new initiatives/projects in order to improve the profitability New Product Development on the product category.


Your profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Industrial Design. Must have at least three years’ experience in a project management role, managing projects from conceptualization through delivery, on time and on budget. 2+ years in consumer products manufacturing as a PM or in a product development related field preferred. Working knowledge of plastic part design, electronics and fabric development. Experience working with domestic and global (Chinese) manufacturing. Experience working with globally distributed project teams in a matrix environment. Embrace an environment that's cutting edge and changing all in the name of improvement. Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer-focused innovation. PMP Certification a plus along with CSM or other Scrum experience. Working understanding of regulatory requirements for UL, FDA, FCC preferred. Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (comfortable in Visio and MSP a plus). Experienced with PPM, PLM, ERP/MRP databases. Exceptional oral & written communication skills with an ability to elicit results from cross-functional teams.
